Wood Spring Robin

Robins are perfect for any season, especially to spruce up your spring decor! These little birds are lathed by hand on a machine using high speed and an accurate spinning point, then carved into the shape. No two are the same, and each has it's own unique shape and coloring. Bird height ranges between 3”-4” high.

We typically use hardwood for our wood turning, which is sourced from local Michigan lumber! Maple, hickory, ash, and cherry are a few types we may use. Wood is finished with wax and oil to prevent cracking, however wood may still demonstrate some cracking or warping especially in very humid or very dry conditions. To control this, apply regular coats of linseed oil, mineral oil, or beeswax polish and keep away from heat source or direct sunlight.

Size varies, but we aim for consistency when possible. Please know that while I will do my best to make each bird to the specified dimensions, the end product may not be exact. If you’re looking for a bigger or smaller bird, feel free to reach out!
