Wildflower Recipe Box

This is a paint by order recipe box, meaning I paint it as you order it. This allows you to request your favorite flowers/ bird and I will add them to your box. Violets, astilbe, small white flowers and a butterfly are painted on this recipe box example, with a sage green background. It fits standard sized 4 x 6 recipe cards, which makes it perfect for gifting or for your own kitchen decor! I started with a lightweight wood box from a craft store, and primed it. Then I painted on several coats of light green paint for the background color. Next I painted the butterfly and flowers. Before shipping I will paint on any personalized details, and seal the box with a coat of Helmsman spar urethane. This has been signed.

Two options for box type; lightweight box(standard) or hardwood box(upgraded version) The dimensions of the lightweight box are as follows; Outer dimensions- L:6.5" W:3.5" H:4.5" Inner dimensions- L:6" W:3" . Dimensions of hardwood box are 6.75” long x 5.25” tall x 4.75” deep. Hardwood version has a groove on the lid for holding recipe cards.
