Adorable handmade book ends with a peaceful forest scene includes three wooden trees and two tiny bunnies! All made from wood sourced on our family farm. Trees are wood turned in a variety of shapes and then sanded for the carved effect. Bunnies are also made on the lathe!
After cutting the book ends to size, I use secure joinery techniques along with high quality wood glue to ensure a heirloom quality piece that lasts. Trees and bunnies are also tenoned and glued securely into place. Please be careful with the bunnies ears- they are small and will break with rough handling!
As a last step, the trees are hand painted by me, and the wood given a dark espresso stain. Personalization available! Feel free to add any name to the top of the book end, or specify where you would like it. Book end dimensions are 5” wide, 5.75” High and 5.75” long.
